Mandarin Ducks
Mandarin ducks have been used for centuries as the traditional symbol of love in Feng Shui practices.
The Mandarin ducks indicate love, romance, devotion and fondness to the partner. They are similar to Swans in western culture. The symbols of Double Mandarin Ducks are frequently used to help single people find a love partner and eventually marital bliss. The Mandarin Ducks represent the Earth element and the pair should be of a male and female. To activate your partnership you may tie the necks of the Mandarin Ducks with a red string to symbolize “tying the knot” in your successful relationship. Also, you should display the pair of Mandarin Ducks in the Southwest sector of your bedroom or living room. The Southwest corner is a Universal Love and Relationship sector. You can activate your Nien Yen direction by placing the Mandarin Ducks on your personal love sector which is based on your Kua Number. Besides that, the 2013 Star of relationship luck is in the Southeast sector and you can activate it by placing the Mandarin ducks, rose quartz and other classic symbols of love in that corner. This star also represents scholastic luck, success in education and it becomes very helpful for kids in school or in college. Just place the Seven Tiers Pagoda or a Double Carp in the southeast area. Please do not place water here; you do not want your kids to get distracted from studying in the middle of the school year.
